Darn, I made alot of silly short term trades earlier this year, when I was starting to learn investment strategy. In doing so, I confused myself on my tax situation. So now I feel like to make my life easier, I'm almost better off closing out all my positions that I traded on frequently before the years end. I hate doing alot of math, especially since most of the trades that I made was a learning experience and the gain/loss ratio simply isn't worth my time and effort to figure out. So I guess if I want to avoid doing alot of math, I have no choice but to close my positions, and sit out until 30 days later sometime in January. Let me know of any better ideas if they exist.
