Datek charges no fee to transfer accounts in. I am moving my accounts to Datek also, I don't mind the higher commissions, because the execution will be at a better price. I think that is something that people overlook. I am a buyandholder too. But none the less I like to save any money I can. Unless you are makeing a very small purchase the $7 differnce in price will most likely be more than paid for. The thing that I am going to miss most is the ability to buy fractional shares and to buy in dollar amounts. The netstock and firsttrade once a week purchase deals won't work for me.SC
