Dave, you are the exception. Your business is much more than plain "mortgage broker/originator". I doubt that there are very many people in the US that offers the same services as yours.Oh, cool. I just plugged your name into google and your business's web site came up as the 1st link. Yup, the work "mortgage" doesn't even appear in the main text. It's only mentioned once, in passing, way down in the fine-print at the very bottom, in the midst of a lot of verbiage in the "who we are" section. The comment you made about "concerned about the costs of phone calls" is a perfect example of allowing prospective clients to self-select OUT.FWIW, ever wonder why all the scam emails you get are so poorly worded with broken English and full of mis-spellings? There was a recent article about that. Seems the scammers use that as a patsy self-selector tool. Anybody who doesn't see through that is self-identifying themselves as gullible. All sorts of people use various methods to let people who are not a match to self-select themselves out. Like my niece's husband with the stud in his lip and holes in his ears that you can see right through -- who somehow can't get a job as a retail clerk. And he can't figure out why Best Buy or McDonalds won't hire him.
