Data Broadcasting Enhances InSite With Release of Version 3.3

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 22, 2000--The Institutional Market Information Division of Data Broadcasting
Corporation (Nasdaq:DBCC - news) today announced the release of InSite version 3.3. InSite is DBC's Internet solution for delivering real-time quotes, news and
research to the institutional and retail brokerage community.

This latest version of InSite offers many new features and enhancements, including single-click access to full-text news stories, display of Cusip numbers, ability to
graph multiple symbols in a single chart window, access to a broader set of U.S. Treasury bond prices and yields, a full range of U.S. and non-U.S. denominated
Money Market instruments (Fed Funds, Bankers Acceptances, Certificates of Deposit, Deposit Rates, Forward Rate Agreements, Interest Rate Swap, plus more),
an enhanced and expanded quote Alert function, and the calculation of Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP).

``The release of InSite version 3.3 demonstrates DBC's commitment to continually enhance the InSite product with major releases throughout the year,' said Jeff
Davis, president of the InSite Group. ``These enhancements expand the breadth and depth of market coverage and continue to make InSite the most flexible and
easy-to-use institutional and retail broker market data system. The expansion in coverage of money market and fixed income data is a major milestone in marrying
the content from our GTIS Market Data Feed with the InSite application. Future releases will continue to focus on the breadth and depth of InSite's features, as well
as state-of-the-art enhancements to InSite's functionality.'

InSite uses Active-Push(TM) technology over the Internet to continuously update market information on the user's workstation. DBC acquires its financial
information directly from the exchanges and delivers it to customers via the high-speed Internet. Newly installed Compaq(TM) Alpha Servers support this reliable
and speedy infrastructure. DBC has installed several redundant and geographically separate high-speed server farms in order to ensure the industry-leading reliability
that customers count on and to handle the enormous increases in exchange data expected over the next two years.
