Or does anyone else here think that it is about time for D to split again? Every time there is sustained high value of the stock in the past there has been a split so the small investors can still get in. Any thoughts?

Why split? Regardless of the price, the market has accepted the price as is and has kept it moving upward. Smaller investor's can - in this day and age of fractional shares and no lot restrictions - still purchase this stock.
