Say that I'm negotiating the purchase of a vehicle with Dealer B. He doesn't have the vehicle in stock, but his locator software has found what I want in the current inventory of Dealer A. Dealer B is willing to do a DX with Dealer A. Now it's time to sit down and negotiate with Dealer B on the price.

My question: who pockets the holdback on the vehicle I want? Dealer B who is gonna sell it to me? Or Dealer A who received the vehicle into inventory from ground stock in the first place?

Same questions for floorplanning allowance...?

Obviously, I'd like to squeeze Dealer B as hard as I can. Getting holdback outta the figuring will sure help.
