If my question is addressed in the FAQ I missed it, sorry for repeating it.I am an IT professional, and I am considering purchasing some expensive software to maintain and enhance my skill set. The software would absolutely benefit my career, but is not required for me to remain employed. Is this a qualifying deduction? If anyone can point me to the IRS information on work related deductions, I would appreciate it.There are several resources that I would like to purchase to enhance my career, but from a LBYM point of view I can live without them if they are not deductible. Thanks, ednmkn.
