...delurking...Hi everyone. First time posting to this site. Kathy made a comment about too much work to clean out those votive candles. Here's a tip I learned from a party planner. Put enough water in the bottom of the holder to cover it. Gently lower the candle and then light. If the candles burn for a long time and the wax melts over, the wax stays ontop of the water (this also helps to keep the holder a little cooler). After the wax cools, it slips out of the holder with the water. No mess. Just dry off and start all over again. reatta
