Depending upon one's employing school district, one may have a number of TSA providers to choose from - and hopefully one that has done better than 6% over the past few years!

I work with teachers & non-profit employees, and the results of their TSA's have been 12-25% average for the past five years (depending upon how conservative or aggressive they feel as investors). I do believe there are mant TSA options that can provide competitive returns as well as reducing current taxable income & tax-deferred growth! Keep looking...
