I did my Partnership Taxes (Form 1065) using Turbotax for Business.
To my surprize when I printed out the return there was no Form 4562 for a Desk Chair that I bought in Tax Year 1998 that I have been depreciating. I think this possibly makes sense because looking at the instructions for Form 4562 (Depreciation and Amortization), it says Form 4562 does not have to be filed unless the property was placed in service during the 2000 tax year or the property is Listed Property regardless of when it was placed in service.

Is it correct that I don't have to file Form 4562 to show depreciation for this desk chair since it was placed in service in 1998?
