Develop a plan that you can live with, then stay the course. Buying high and selling low stinks. Buying and selling based on current events and market moves stinks. Buy and hold. What goes down usually goes back up, but not unless you've refrained from selling at the bottom. These are hard for most folks to follow, but if you don't, you'll only lose more and more money over the years, and we're talking about money that was probably hard to earn and then save for investment.
