Private companies are tough, true. What about D&B? I'm sure there's a fee involved, but for pitch #3, it may be worth it? that I think about it, you may have to find an associate who has access to their services to pull the report - may not be available to us John Q. Public types.

My wife unfortunately works for a tiny corporation that probably won't last much longer, and she recently opened a letter from their general liability insurance company - cancelling them for a bad Experian CR. I had no idea that CRA's covered small companies as well. Maybe you could somehow check on your prospective employer that way? Private companies, unfortunately, are called that for a reason...*grin*
