I've been helping my neighbor figure out how to list her stuff on eBay, and am getting to play around with her digital camera as part of that.

I took a picture of our table, set for Valentine's Day. The instant feedback showed me all the little things that my eye was blind to but that detracted from the look I was aiming for.

This morning I mentally looked at my front porch through a camera lens and totally rearranged the flower pots and threw out a couple of things that just didn't fit. Now it looks "put together", designed on purpose.

This is a great tool for seeing things as they really are and making areas of the home into artistic compositions.
