Diners Club is separate from Visa and Mastercard. More akin to American Express. I have used a corporate Diners Club card for several years for all my travel needs and rarely had a problem with the card being accepted. I travel extensively both domestically and internationally.I use it primarily for airlines, rail lines, hotels, rental cars, restaurants, ATMs (to obtain foreign currency),taxis and entertainment. Diners Club is not a shopping card however and you will find that many retailers do not accept it. Camptown
