I want to get a HD OTA antenna, mount it by my DirectTv disk and diplex the signal over the existing cable.

My question is this: on the inside, where do I split the signals back out? I would assume that I would put the inside diplexer on BEFORE the directTv receiver, and then run coax to the DirectTV receiver and another run of coax to the TV

HD antenna------| |--to TV
|-diplexer-----------diplexer-|
satellite dish--| |--to Sat. receiver

2nd question - forgive my ignorance, but will the HD OTA antenna signals be delivered adequately to an HTDV over coax?

thanks - hoov
