California, dire straights.

Chicago and Illinois. Big trouble.

New York City. Ditto.

Detroit. Look out below.


What do those four have in common? Seems the main commonality is a long, oppressive rule of "progressive" ideas...largely translated as major union corruption, as well as the corruption of the populace by government hand-outs.

I haven't seen similar examples of very-large cities or entire states that have been governed by conservative principles. Anyone here know of any? (Note, I'm not talking Democrat vs. Republican. I'm talking liberal vs. conservative)
