As a "retired fool" I hate to see you Fool analyists act to discontinue these portfolios. If lack of interest by "retired fools" is the issue, let me say a lot of us "old fools" are just disinterested in general i.e., this crazy downward escalating market. There really is not a lot of incentive this year to foment investment strategy change or to put much, if any, new money to work. I can't speak for other "retired fools," but the only track I choose to follow now is "Buy and Hold" and engage in a little "dollar cost averaging" purchases in "quality" companies. By minimizing the drawing of funds from my portfolios, unless absolutely necessary, it gives some reassurance in conserving equity funds in my portfolio until market conditions become more favorable. Please reconsider continuing the retired portfolios. I found the tracking of these portfolios interesting, even though I didn't have questions or input this year on this subject.
