Maybe some of you can give me a push;

'Just last month joined MDP. Am now about 50% bought into the "Buy Now" and a few "Buys". But, I already own some stocks that aren't doing too bad:

General Electric--GE; United Technologies--UTX; Valero Energy--VLO; Honeywell Int'l--HON; Johnson Controls--JCI; and General Motors--GM.

Each of these separately and as a whole have outperformed the S&P during my ownership. VLO, JCI, and HON, if sold, would be long-term gains.

What would any of you do with these? Hang on and selectively sell off as they begin to weaken? Are some in trouble that I can't see? Sales cash will go into more MDP "Buys".

Thanks for any advice,

Bill, a new guy
