I am new to ETF's and I am considering purchasing DVY. I delved into mutual funds in the past and know that they distribute Capital Gains and Dividends normally at year end. As far as ETF's, does DVY distribute their accumulated dividends separately like mutual funds or is the dividend just reflected in the overall share price?
Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, DVY distributes dividends every 3 months. Normally, your broker (etrade, fidelity, or whoever) will allow you to decide if you want that dividend to go into a money market account or paid to you via check or to use it to immediately buy more partial shares of DVY for whatever price it is going for that day.

I hope that answers your question. -noodle
