Do you know if those private clinics in B.C. you linked to accept American patients? You're not serious, but the question intrigued me, so I called them and asked. No they don't. Have to be a Canadian citizen.Changing the subject, as I understand Obama care, he's forcing employers to pay the coverage for full-time employees, right? If so, of course the end result is that employers will cut working hours, designate everyone as part-time and hire more part-timers. It'll screw the workers but reduce unemployment numbers. Bad for people, good for government. In BC, everyone is responsible for their own fees. Some employers pay it for some of their employees, but they don't have to. Unions of course stick it in with their other demands.I think BC is the only Province that charges the fee. I'm too lazy to research what other Provinces do. If they don't now, they'll probably start soon. The Federal government has recently told all the provinces that it's reducing its contribution, and the provinces will have to look after the shortfall themselves.Government fun for everyone!Rip
