While what the site says bears more than a grain of truth, I really doubt WM or WAMUQ will be worth anything unless you are willing to wait about 3 years for all the lawsuits to be settled.
Since it is a penny stock now and in legal proceeding there is a huge risk involved. Common share holders are paid last, if at all. TPG has a large enough loss to eat up any remaining assets, they would get something before the bond holders.

I retained my Fannie Mae shares, but they are @ $1.05/sh. I will wait until next year to declare a tax loss, or if they become viable, keep them.

Yes, I agree something funny happened, which does not mean a shareholder will recover anything.
