The deal is that I have a pretty good relationship with my doctors. I see them once a year or so, my wife sees them a lot more often than that. I doubt most of them are all that excited about having to ask patients about their guns... but if the government makes them do it then, hey, they gotta do it.

I'm usually sitting there in my NRA Gadsden hat anyway... asking if I own guns is a bit silly. Hell, most of them know I work for the police (they're UofM doctors) and know that I know the gun laws better than they do. I don't tell them how to check my prostate, they don't have to tell me how to store my guns. They can say the spiel, I'll thank them, we'll both laugh and be on our way.

/But if they want to buy me dinner before the prostate exam I won't say no...
