Does anybody think that 80-85 % of shopping will be done on the web in the next 5 years.?

The only thing that would push consumerism onto the Internet to such a degree would be fear -- fear of being blown up at the mall, fear of being contaminated with smallpox at the local book store, etc. And if things got that scary who'd trust the UPS truck not to be wired to go off?

Just my two cents....
