Does anyone know of a LCD chip maker.Samsung opened a new multi billion dollar manufacturing plant in Asia earlier this year. http://www.smarthouse.com.au/articlesbytopic/homecinema/lcdandplasmatv/1540The reason I remembered it, was that it was expected to cause a substantial increase in supply and push prices down. That is discussed a little here:http://www.10e20webdesign.com/news_center_latest_technology_internet_news_july_15_2004_samsung_elec_sees_lcd_prices_falling.htmFWIW... I personally try to avoid tech in my investments, even thought I work for a tech company. The technology is changing so rapidly, that any hiccup in a company's innovation makes it quickly obsolete. Yet the P/E ratios for the sector seem to price for perfection.-Joe
