Does a career change adversely affect my credit rating/FICO score? After 7 years in the same line-of-work, I made a career change 6 months ago, but have continued working part-time at my former place of employment for 2 reasons: extra cash & to show continuity of employment, since I did make a full-time career change.

Ever since October '04, my newest/current place of employment has overtime work available that is likely to continue throughout early summer...thus I make more $$ working overtime than I do at the part-time former place of employment. I would like to resign from my part time position, since I do like my new job and the overtime $$. Will this action adversely affect my credit rating?

many thanks to all who take the time to respond...Apacherose Jr.
