Doh! Michael is right...the buzz/hum means that your unit is toast (which I think you already knew), but there is the possibility it could damage your speakers. I should have thought of that. Once the amp is unstable who knows what transients or spikes it could pulse at your speakers, and you could end up watching your tweeter fly out the window.I wouldn't even turn that thing on again. Get a new unit, and give the old one to an electronics recycler.1poorguy (does not like the smell of burned-out speakers in the morning...)
