Amazing. This Billionaire makes hundreds of millions off an ascendant NBA team with one of the best dunkers in the league, a team made up predominantly African-American athletes, and this is what he says, to his girlfriend, who is Mexican/African-American heritage?

I'm not going to post the specifics of the current racist rants or a past one which he ended up being sued for (which you can read at this link), but Donald Sterling reminds me of racists from when I was kid growing up in a tough white neighborhood in Richmond, Va during Segregation. Good grief!

Magic Johnson has heard Sterling's comments, and he's not pleased. "It's a shame that Donald Sterling feels that way about African-Americans," he told TMZ. "He has a team full of amazing African-American basketball players that are working to bring a championship to Clippers fans. The Clippers also have a strong minority fan base."

Sterling has long had a reputation for racism. The Clippers owner and real estate mogul settled a lawsuit confidentially in 2005 that accused him of discriminating against black and Hispanic tenants at properties he owned. He paid $2.7 million in response to another housing discrimination lawsuit in 2009. Sterling and his wife denied any discrimination and said the settlement was not an admission of guilt, according to the LA Times.
