Actually I had the office all to myself today, getting a couple last minute large jobs done. One was a rather involved return to get filed, and a couple of even more involved jobs which will be extensions; where we don't know exact numbers, but they have to pay something.

Monday we will file the last of the extensions, which mostly will not need payments; and hopefully Tuesday finds us with nothing to do.
Some of our staff was already spending Friday on foundations and other exempt org. returns, which are due 5/15.

It's been a bad tax season, what with the late-arriving 1099s, and confusion with how to figure some of the brokers' 1099-Bs, and gain/loss reports.

On the good side, our software didn't give us any problems this year.
And we didn't have any IRS audits during tax season, though there was a large estate tax return to get done.

Glad we're done.
