don't know if there is a way to type in a topic and find related questions that have already been asked or not. if there is, please tell me how. anyway, my question is about t.rowe price. i'm wondering what are your experiences with their services? have they been positive or negative. are they easy to get started with and do they have good customer service. i was recommended to them from a columnist, but would actually like to hear from "real" people as to what their dealings have been like. the columnist also suggested the "monte carlo modeling" service, which is priced at $500 is a good tool to use. has anyone used this before? this is for family members who will be retiring within 6-8 months or so. thanks again. At the top of the message page is a search block. Check full search. Put in Monte and you will see your posts and others. From what I have read I think their monte carlo is a better way to go than the current calqulators.I would not pay the 500 because I think I know what I am doing. If you are close to retirement then go ahead, but if you are a ways off I would stick to the free calqulators or buy Quicken Deluxe and use there planning model. I would think Money probably also has one.I use Schwab and ETrade. Schwab is much much better on service. Since I am a buy and hold the cost of the trade is not the most important item.
