Double correction...

As for your other investments, allow me to join the chorus of "too much cash!" 70% S&P500 and 30% intermediate-term bonds allows you to withdraw about 3.8% of your starting balance - $47,500- adjusted for inflation, per year, through the worst 3 years the US markets have seen in the past 130 or so years.

And if things are not so bad as the worst 40 years were,


The two bolded numbers should both be "30". Not 3 and 40.
