It’s time to update the tracker again. The broader market fared better than BI this past month but BI continues to outperform the broader market.
As a result it lost a little more ground of a relative basis.

Performance Summary:
Benchmark return year to date = +30.2%
SPY Total return year to date +26.0%
Difference vs. SPY = +4.2 pct pts

DOW BI Selection Process:
At the end of Dec 2012 no individual companies in the Dow met all the BI selection criteria in order to be chosen as a
Long pick for 2013. As a result the criteria was loosened a bit to include candidates that have at least positive
Earnings growth, but still meet all other BI selection criterion. These stocks will be held for all of 2013 and their
performance tracked. Based on this slightly relaxed BI criterion, the three most undervalued companies were selected.
