I don't know if this helps, but here is a story about my favourite rock band singer in the 80's when I was growing up - Mike Peters of The Alarm. He had Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in 1995 and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia in 2006. I saw him play in 2007 and 2008 and he was great. An inspiration.
