I hope this is the right board for this question and, if not, please refer me elsewhere.I am self-employed. I saw that receipts for food I bought for a business meeting was put (by my bookkeeper) into Meals. I purchased food and coffee totalling about $60.00. I know meals are only 50% deductible. Wouldn't this kind of expenditure belong in a different category (maybe office expense or something)?Thanks for any suggestion.
