DW applied for one to do a BT. Gave her a $200 limit. She didn't bother to activate the card. They belong with MBNA and 1stUSA.The problem is, this is one of those YMMV areas. See, I've had an MBNA card for five years or so, and never had any problems with them. The rates have been good, no annual fee, no monkey business about late payments, etc. And I just applied for a Capital One card to do a balance transfer (although I want the 0% rate the original poster was offered! Mine was 4.9% for the life of the balance), and they gave me a bountiful credit limit - far more than I needed.- Olivia
