I have seen references to separate and equal withdrawals from retirement accounts in the past and have some questions.
Are funds in IRA, Roth IRA, and 401k accounts all accessible?
How does the 5 year minimum time frame work?
I believe the amount to withdraw is calculated using amortization tables. What options does one have at the end of 5 years or 59 years of age? Or age 60 or 61 for that matter? Are you then able to set your own withdrawal schedule or are you "locked in" to the previously set rate of withdrawal?
Can someone (Pixy?) clarify this for me?
Thanks, Sully
