Good morning,
Today, BankAtlantic Bancorp, the parent company of BankAtlantic, reported net income for the three months ended September 30, 1999 of $9.3 million (diluted earnings per share of $0.18 and $0.17 for Class A and B common stock, respectively), compared to a net loss of ($9.5 million) (diluted loss per share of ($0.23) and ($0.21) for Class A and B common stock, respectively), for the same period in 1998. Net income for the current quarter is the highest third quarter earnings in the Company's 47-year history. Congratulations on a fine quarter.
