Atlas Air, Inc just reported earnings for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 1999 of $14.1 million, or $.41 per diluted share, a record for third quarter earnings and the second best quarter in the Company's history.

These results represent an 11% increase over third quarter 1998 net income of $12.7 million, or $.38 per diluted share. Revenues for the third quarter 1999 increased 48% to $161.9 million, versus $109.2 million for the same quarter in 1998.
