Hi Fools,

I requested a new board to be opened today addressing the topic of what some consider to be a forthcoming economic collapse - possibly an October surprise. My hope is that this board will become a repository of videos, articles, and audio interviews pertaining to this topic, as well as the never-ending debate between inflation and deflation. I think these questions pervade all of our investment decisions, whether stocks and bonds, cash, real estate, hard assets, or otherwise.

I have listened to both sides of the this argument, as well as that of the bulls who believe the economy is soon to recover. I am mixed. Looking forward to engaging and sharing on this topic.

To start us off, I offer a light-hearted video:

Economic Collapse Explained in 3 Minutes:

. . . as well as a more serious video . .

Max Keiser Interviews Gerald Celente:

I am leaning towards a deflationary view, and I am presently bearish on stocks long-term. I don't think real-estate will recover for 10 or 20 years. What are your thoughts? Let's discuss.
