I have a 12 yr old nephew who is finding some love in the design world. He isn't into the actual building like I am, but prefers to design stuff. They just got done designing and building a bridge in school. His school really doesn't have anything to further this potential passion, and I was wondering if anyone knows of clubs/magazines/websites, etc to see if he really wants to go into this discipline. I've found a few for college age engineers, but nothing for the budding engineer.

Any ideas?
