I've finally jumped into the #'s area of investing with the Foolish Workbook. I've got a question I've been unable to solve. Let me give an example.

ATHM's EPS listed under Quotes/Data and Financials is -1.370. The earnings per share for ATHM during the 3Q was -$.01

After working out the EPS myself.

Total earnings/Total shares

-4 million/ 367.9 million

I also come up with -$.01.

What gives with this 1.370 number? I don't get it. I am very confused. And where can I find the real earnings per share since 1.370 doesn't seem to be it? I am obvious completely confused and any help is appreciated.

Help?!?

-Chris
