Eric,

One of the great things about Disney World is that there is such a large selection of resorts to choose from and you are bound to find some that really click with you. It's really a matter of personal preference. I'll give you my take on them.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge » I have never stayed here before. It's supposed to be very nice. One of my co-workers stayed here and loved it. The nice thing about it is the animals that you can see. The draw back about is that is far away from the MK and you need to take buses to all the parks.

Disney's Beach Club Resort » We have stayed here once. It was very nice. We would stay here again. The great part about this resort is the pool it shares with the Yacht Club. It is huge and really fun. Definitely the best resort pool in Disney World. The other nice thing is that you can walk to Epcot and take a boat to MGM. Some drawbacks of the resort is that it is a far way to the MK. Also, it can be a long walk to your room. Another drawback can be the bus service. The buses stop at all the Epcot resorts (Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan & Dolphin) which can take a while. Another drawback is that we like to have a food court type place and this resort doesn't really have one.

Disney's Boardwalk Inn » We have stayed here also. We liked this one also. The positives and negatives are like the Beach Club. It doesn't share the same pool but it does have a nice pool. Our DD loves the clown slide here.

Disney's Contemporary Resort » We have stayed here also. I've stayed in the garden wings, I haven't stayed in the tower. We love Chef Mickey's here. We eat there for our first meal whenever we go to Disney. It's very nice to have the monorail to go to the MK. They have a nice food court here and the gameroom is great. The theming isn't as much as the other resorts. Also, the pool isn't that great, although, I think they are changing that.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa » We haven't stayed here. We have eaten here a few times. It is a very nice resort. It is a litte too formal for our tastes. It doesn't seem as kid friendly as the other resorts.

Disney's Polynesian Resort » We have stayed here. I wasn't blown away by this one. I think it is a preference thing. I just am not into the Polynesian theme. Also, it didn't have restaurants that we liked that much. The view is great. The monorail is also great for the MK.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge » You know how I love this one :)

Disney's Yacht Club Resort » We haven't stayed here. It is the sister property for the Beach Club. Everything for the Beach Club applies to this one.

Walt Disney World Dolphin » We haven't stayed here.

Walt Disney World Swan » We have stayed here. It was more like a normal hotel than a Disney hotel because it is owned by someone else. The location is good for Epcot and MGM. The same thing for location applies at it does for the Yacht Club, Beach Club and Boardwalk.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort » Never been there.

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort » Never been there.

Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter » We haven't stayed in this section but we did stay in the Riverside section.

Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside » We have stayed here. We really liked it a lot for a moderate. We liked the food court.

Disney's Pop Century Resort » Never been there.

Disney's All-Star Movies Resort » Never been there.

Disney's All-Star Music Resort » We have stayed here. This is a value resort. It like a motel structure. It was nice for the money and it is on property with the bus service.

Disney's All-Star Sports Resort » Never been there.

Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa » We have stayed here. It is nice. If you want to go to Downtown Disney you can't get any better then this place. You have to take a bus everywhere else. DD liked the pool. It's like Old Key West in that it is very spread out.

Disney's Beach Club Villas » We haven't stayed in the Villas. We stayed in the hotel part. See above.

Disney's BoardWalk Villas » We stayed in the Villas instead of the hotel. See above.

Disney's Old Key West Resort » We have stayed here. It was ok. The size of the rooms are great. You have to take a bus everywhere you want to go. The buildings are very spread out and that's a problem if it is raining like cats and dogs like it was when we went.

The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge » We have stayed here. This is our home resort for the Disney Vacation Club. We love it.

If you have any other questions just let me know.
