I know that folks on this board like Etrade and Zion's for bonds. Several years ago I tried to simplify things a bit by consolidating, and rolled my etrade acct into Vgd. Is there really a BIG difference in the individual bond offerings from eTrade vs. Vgd? Because right now I am having trouble finding anything I want to buy from Vgd. bond desk or Fidelity bond desk in the way of individual bonds. They seem to offer the "usual suspects" week after week. Now of course this may be because that is all that is being sold. If anybody has an acct. at two or more of the above, how substantial is the difference in the offerings?
