Excellent post by Ryan sums up my feelings well.
The other thing that can't be ignored is the agreement MACR signed with IBM (when my sources tell me IBM wanted to buy them out, but they declined). IBM/Lotus salespeople are now authorized to sell MACR products as part of their regular package of products and services. MACR products are listed on their sales forms just as if they were IBM/Lotus products. The best part is the sales people recieve a commission just as if the products were their own.
This agreement has only recently taken effect, so the impact has not yet been felt. IMHO we will see a big jump in MACR sales over the next few quarters as this sales relationship kicks in.
This arrangement is a win/win as IBM gets value added for there products and MACR gets a large agressive sales force for no money.
