The Gravy Train Continues

Adelphia, the bankrupt cable company is trying to hire two ex AT&T broadband executives to lead them back to profitability. Remember all the talk about outrageous executive pay? Thought some sanity would creep into the compensation process? You can wake up now because you're dreaming. Adelphia is proposing paying these guys a potential $64 million if they can save the company. Granted, most of the compensation would be as a percentage of company value if Adelphia emerges from bankruptcy, but $64 million? Did anyone making this offer notice AT&T hasn't exactly set the corporate world on fire over the last 20 years?
