FAA just grounded all 787s....Here is the weird thing. A Volt auto needs a battery because it would rather not burn fuel.Why in heaven's name does a 787 need a battery? Why not just have an on-board generator provide the needed power when the engines are not running?Is there some kind of regulation that prevents this?Peter
