Lunch lady slammed for food that is 'too good'

http://www.thelocal.se/43656/20121006/

A talented head cook at a school in central Sweden has been told to stop baking fresh bread and to cut back on her wide-ranging veggie buffets because it was unfair that students at other schools didn't have access to the unusually tasty offerings.

The municipality has ordered Eriksson to bring it down a notch since other schools do not receive the same calibre of food - and that is "unfair".

This progressive desire to reduce everyone to the lowest common denominator is why we won't be able to get health care that the bureaucratic rationing board denies us even if we want to pay for it ourselves. And why medical tourism will become a bigger industry.

Again, this is why I think Harrison Bergeron should be required reading for every jr high student along with a real life lesson in how it worked so they get it.

THE YEAR WAS 2081, and everybody was finally equal. They weren't only equal before God and the law. They were equal every which way. Nobody was smarter than anybody else. Nobody was better looking than anybody else. Nobody was stronger or quicker than anybody else. All this equality was due to the 211th, 212th, and 213th Amendments to the Constitution, and to the unceasing vigilance of agents of the United States Handicapper General.

It will never happen because duality and separation are inherent and inescapable properties of the physical universe. It goes against the nature of how our universe is made.

Duality and separation teach the soul what it means and how it feels to be separate which is the whole purpose of life.

During my senior year in HS, our English teacher had us read 1984 and Animal Farm. She knew what she was doing.

I brought the books home and actually got some refreshing interest in what I was doing from my dad. We had long conversations about communism/capitolism. It was one of the few postive memories of my dad growing up.
