FYI, all:

For the first time in over 200 year the stills at Mount Vernon have produced the fine American rye whiskey that George Washington was drinking back in the day. The first batch was produced by the who's who among America's master distillers in 2003 and bottled just two days ago. At a benefit auction Thursday night individual bottles from the 24 bottle limited edition lot brought some outstanding high bids. Bottle number one went for an amazing $100,000 (a world record price for a bottle of American whiskey) and will be on permanent display at the George Washington Distillery Museum (opening April 2007).
