I am considering doing my own taxes this year. First of all, should I not consider it with all of the new tax laws this year? Also, if I would get audited I have nothing to fall back on, like you do at H&R Block. But the reason that I want to do this myself is because I had a horrible experience with H&R last year. Basically, do I have protection from audit from any of the tax softwre, or am I worrying about nothing.
