I just made TrackRSElDorados one of my favorites!

How do you decide when to close a CAPS position?

blesto,

I have decided to simply buy new stocks appearing on the screen, hold stocks that carry over month to month, and sell stocks disappearing off the screen. I'm doing this for all of my screens.

I considered other methods (such as holding stocks for a set period, like a year), and nothing was perfect (even the method I chose). This is the way AAII tracks screen results, BTW.

Hmmm - Praxair keeps popping up in my web wanderings.

Must be time to take a closer look.

Rex,

I would like to get access to the F8 and Mod-F8 screens.
I am a long time member of MF and I used the F8 screen a few years back.

Can you direct me to the website with the screen and is the screen access free for MF members?

Thank you for your help.
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

I'm the only one running these screens every month. For years, Hidden Gems members were the only ones who had access, but now I'm publishing them every month for all to see.

Since the criteria aren't secret, anyone could set up a screen and run it any time they wanted. However, I don't think there are any free (or even low-cost) screening tools out there that can pull in all the criteria.

So, if you want to see the passing companies, I'm afraid you'll just have to follow along with me. :) The following two CAPS pages will always show the current F8 and Mod-8 stocks, as of the last screening date:
