Federal e-filing is now INCLUDED in all TurboTax desktop products. This makes sense since the majority of TurboTax customers now e-file.

In other words, you have made the decision for your customers who do not want to e-file to charge them for it anyway. Correct? So if you had 100 customers, and (say) 60 of them e-filed, you were getting 60x($50+18) plus 40x$50, or $6080. This year you will be getting $65 x 100, or $6500.

Congratulation on screwing 40% of your customers so you can make a few extra bucks. This is exactly the kind of corporation I will no longer do business with I've used TT for 3 years now, and it's the last.

It's funny how people react differently to essentially the same thing. For years, the airlines said that your first 2 checked bags are INCLUDED in all flights. So by this logic, the airlines were screwing x% of their passengers who didn't want to 2 check bags. But, since they've decided now to only charge those who check bags, we're all bagging on them (pun intended) for screwing us for charging for checked bags.

I'm not trying to defend Intuit or the airlines. Just observing.
